Well, official word came today that another chance at a book bites the dust. It's no surprise, because I had sort of figured it out already, but I'm still bummed.
I am the author of four poetry collections, most recently Waterlines with LSU Press. I am the recipient of a creative writing fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, and my poems have appeared in Poetry, Ploughshares, the Southern Review, and many other journals. My manuscript Our Lady of the Flood won the Diode Chapbook Prize and is forthcoming in March of 2018.

I'm sorry to hear it.
But Congrats on being a finalist! I know your work is great (!!) and will find a home soon.
Jeannine--
You are sweet, and I should stop whining.
Sean--Hey!
